For more than 50 years, as Minnesota’s Door to the World, the Minnesota International Center (MIC) has provided rich and varied opportunities for individuals from Minnesota and around the world to serve as citizen diplomats and to gain a deeper understanding of their place in the world community. The annual TreeHouse Canopy of Dreams Gala took place on May 27, 2010 at The Depot, Minneapolis. More than 1,000 people gathered for a night to dream, discover, and be inspired! The event featured guest speakers Michael Oher and Collins and Leigh Anne Tuohy of the acclaimed book and recent movie Academy Award-Nominee for Best Picture, The Blind Side. Guests also enjoyed a musical performance by Grammy Award-Winner, Amy Grant.
